Sushanta Mishra, Popular personality of entire Odisha is a great orator, organizer, literary person and educationalist. He was born in 1976 in Talpadar village under Bijepur block of Bargarh district. His father, Tankadhar Mishra, and mother, Kuntilata Mishra, have been able to make their parents happy and lucky . His father passed away when he was only ten years old. He has been struggling since his childhood with family burdens, poverty, chaos.
He is working as an English lecturer at Buddhadev Meher Higher Secondary School, Dahita near Padmapur in Bargarh District. Apart from this, he is a leader of 662 college Association in Odisha . President of Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Talpadar, former senate member of Sambalpur University, has acquired the identity of an educationist by being associated with various educational organizations. He is famous as a popular columnist, author, dramatist and literary personalities.
Organizing a successful drama festival named “Uttalgarh Uchhab” in his village since two decades shows his organizational skills. Mr. Mishra has been associated with many prestigious institutions and individuals such as the famous pilgrimage center of West Odisha Nrusinghanath, Lok kabi Padmashri Haldhar Nag, martyr Pith Ghess etc . While many of his books have been published, almost a large number of plays, articles, research books etc. are reported to be in preparation for publication.
